“Arraial” or “Arraiá” is the space where the “Festa Junina” is held. This festivity celebrated in the month of June nationwide (June = junho > junina) is the largest celebration in Brazil after Carnival.

Plaid shirts for men, flowered dresses and braids for women, bonfire (fogueira), little colorful flags (bandeirinhas), balloons (balões), grog cocktails, square dance (quadrilha), are all important elements of the Festa Junina.

The Tropicabana Band brings the typical music that livens up the festa junina and entertains crowds from north to south of Brazil: FORRÓ!
