Join us Saturday, November 12th 2022 as Make Sure You Have Fun™ Presents: Kimshi with special guest tj groover. Kimshi is a DJ and performing artist born and raised in Philadelphia, PA making her Pittsburgh, PA debut. She’s graced the stage a Philly’s Rec & Royal and House Fire but will spinning an open format set of hip hop, R&B and all things dance live at Spirit Lodge. To celebrate 5 Years of Fun, she’ll be joined by none other than producer, DJ and host of The Corduroy Boogie on MSYH.FM , tj groover.

Kimshi is a DJ and performing artist born and raised in Philadelphia. She developed a deep love for music as a result of a youth consumed by piano lessons, dance classes, and orchestra. Her native Philly imbued a distinct soulfulness to her palate and she grew up in love with the sounds of RnB, Hip Hop, and dance music especially.
In 2017 she began her professional DJ journey with a residency at the Fillmore's Tear Drop party. That year she also entered the curation and event production arena with House Fire, at Philly's premiere danceteria, The Dolphin Tavern. She also made an appearance and did a live mix for the legendary Sway In The Morning show on SiriusXM.
Since then she has produced events and held residencies in a number of Philly's premiere venues including So Far Gone at the Fillmore. She's shared stages with a wide variety of artists and DJs including 88 Rising, Jorja Smith, Kali Uchis, Oliver Tree, Lil Tracy, Dave Nada, Tittswortth, Working on Dying, Rich Medina, Cosmo Baker and more.
A true trailblazer, her versatility, command, and electrifying performances are always sure to turn heads and shake the dance floor!

tj groover
TJ Groover is a music producer and DJ raised in New Jersey, but currently based in Pittsburgh. His early work was primarily producing hip-hop and r&b music for local artist. Currently, TJ Groover has been focusing on branching out and building his own brand by making edits/remixes of his favorite songs and DJ’n around the Pittsburgh club scene. His current sound is influenced by multiple genres of music such as funk, house, Afro beat, and Jersey club.
