Bred in NYC and currently residing in Pittsburgh, her work in music and the visual arts is rooted in exalting Black women & LGBTQ+ communities. Yadirtydaughter (they/them) is an up-and-coming DJ, originally based in Los Angeles, now bringing their sound to Pittsburgh. Their music style is reflective of their internal world: an eclectic variety of sounds ranging from house to dreamy lofi to pulsating trance. Their mixing style aims to transcend their audience from the real world into another dimension.
