The Messthetics are a new instrumental trio from Washington, D.C., comprised of Anthony Pirog, Brendan Canty, and Joe Lally. Brendan and Joe were the rhythm section for the band Fugazi from their inception in 1987 until their indefinite hiatus in 2002. This is their first band together since Fugazi's hiatus. Their stop in Pittsburgh is one of a handful of shows the band is playing this spring in support of their debut LP, The Messthetics. This is a show you don't want to miss!
