Each month, Awesome Pittsburgh makes a $1,000 grant to people in our region to do awesome things that will make Pittsburgh a better place to live, work, and play! Learn more about Awesome Pittsburgh at www.awesomepgh.com.

On October 18, 2011, Pittsburgh City Council declared it to be Awesome Pittsburgh Day in the City of Pittsburgh, marking the launch of the Pittsburgh chapter of the international Awesome Foundation. Since then, 1,500+ people have submitted a wide array of ideas for consideration, 58 local projects have won Awesome micro-grants and 28 generous trustees have contributed to these awards. That's a whole lot of awesome-ness to celebrate! So, please join us on Friday, October 21, 2016 as we mark five years of Awesome Pittsburgh!

Awesome Pittsburgh will be giving away a few other things you may want to celebrate:
- Pizza from Slice Island
- Birthday cupcakes from Yummyholic (a past grant winner), and
- Grants 59 & 60, which they'll announce at the party! 

This is a 21+ event.
